Answers provides following services to support Community Health Workers and families:
- Answers hosts free Potentially Preventable Hospitalization (PPH) Learning Collaborative sessions every 3rd Thursday of the month at 2PM, where you can earn $20 gift cards for participating if you live or work in Pierce County. This is conducted on behalf of the Tacoma Pierce County Health Department.
During these sessions we invite speakers from Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, MultiCare, Community Health Care, WA State Department of Health, and other health organizations who provide education on heart disease and other chronic health conditions, oral health, prescription medication, vaccinations for children and adults, and tobacco/ vaping cessation.
We also provide training on Motivational Interviewing and Screening Brief Intervention & Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) for early detection of substance use and mental health conditions. - The MultiCultural Child & Family Hope Center and Answers are partnering to host free Culturally Responsive Integrated & Strength-Based Parenting (CRISP) classes every 3rd Wednesday at 5pm, for our clients who live in WA State. Through CRISP, you can receive practical education on health, applying for benefits, and parenting. You will receive $20 gift card each month for participating in GoToMeeting session and filling out a brief survey. - Starting in November 2022, we launched Answers Integrated Digital Empowerment (AIDE) through funding from WA State Commerce Department.
